The best place for beginners to start is with a small 2 or 4 line kite. Depending on the size and weight of the beginner, generally a kite upto about 3.5m is considedred a sensible starting place. (Smaller for light weights or children) If the only interest is flying the kite, 2-line is probably the cheapest and best option, if however the ultimate goal is buggying or boarding, it may be better to start with a small 4-line that can then be used for the chosen traction activity in higher winds. |
